BP OIL spill update
Thankfully the gusher has been stopped. Although we had
been posting updates on the spill as it might affect Galveston, which it had
not, nor will not, we find no need to do so anymore.
(As a side note, however, consider this... the Gulfstream currents run up the coast of Texas from Mexico, then across the Gulf states, meander down Florida's west coast, around the tip of Florida and up the eastern states. It is almost inconceivable that any portion of this spill can reach our beautiful island.)
Our prayers go out to the families who lost their loved ones and we pray that the administration will let our Gulf Coast oilfield workers get back to work.
